Why We Chose Lasting Artificial Florals

We chose to create our memorial tributes with quality artificial flowers because remembrance does not have to last for only a few days.

Fresh funeral flowers are beautiful, but they naturally fade soon after the service. An artificial tribute offers families something they may keep for longer—as a memorial at home, beside a photograph, at a graveside or in another meaningful place.

Artificial flowers also allow us to maintain the intended colours and overall character of each design when particular fresh flowers are out of season. They are easier to transport, require no watering and can be moved or displayed without the same concerns associated with wilting.

Our artificial tributes are not intended to replace the meaning of fresh flowers. They provide a different option for customers who would prefer to send something lasting.

Why Every Tribute Is Made to Order

Every Held Close tribute is created after an order is placed. We do not keep completed wreaths sitting in storage or on display.

Making each tribute to order means:

  • The flowers and foliage are selected and inspected specifically for your arrangement.

  • Your tribute arrives newly assembled and has not been sitting on display collecting dust.

  • Each design receives individual care and attention.

  • The arrangement can be prepared in your chosen size and colour style.

  • A personal sympathy message can be included.

  • We avoid unnecessarily making arrangements that may never be required.

Because each tribute is individually made, please allow approximately 5–7 business days for creation, plus delivery time. These arrangements are most suitable for sending after hearing of a loss or when you cannot be there personally. They are not intended for urgent or same-day funeral delivery.

Caring for Your Tribute

To keep the arrangement looking its best:

  • Display it away from prolonged direct sunlight and harsh weather.

  • Remove light dust occasionally with a soft brush, feather duster, or cool, gentle airflow.

  • Do not soak the arrangement or use strong cleaning products.

  • If displayed outdoors, move it into a sheltered position where possible.

  • Store it in a clean, dry box if it is not being displayed.

With gentle care, the tribute can remain a meaningful keepsake well beyond the funeral service.
